SEC One Step Closer to World Domination
With the College World Series finals beginning today, South Carolina has a chance to add to the SEC’s stellar athletic domination this year.

Can they three-peat?
South Carolina is looking to win its third CWS in a row, which would give the title to the SEC for the fourth year in a row (LSU won in 2009). Outside of baseball, this would be the SEC’s tenth National Championship during this academic year (out of twenty sports). Even cooler? The SEC would be the first league in nearly 40 years to win each of the “Big Three” titles in the same year (football, men’s basketball, and baseball).
So, even though Kentucky saw an earlier exit than we had hoped from the College World Series this year, a South Carolina series win against Arizona would further cement the fact that the SEC is the best conference in college sports. The teams play at 8 pm ET on ESPN2/ESPN3.
